The countdown to EuroShop, The World’s Leading Retail Trade Fair is running. From 5th to 9th March 2017, this world-wide leading trade fair for the entire investment needs of the trade will take place in Düsseldorf and is in demand as never before among the exhibitors. The EuroShop 2014 has already been surpassed by 10,000 square meters, which is why EuroShop will cover 18 halls in 2017, instead of 16 halls. The last EuroShop in 2014 attracted 2,229 exhibitors from 56 countries to over 116,000 sqm net exhibition space and over 109,496 trade visitors, 63 percent of whom came from abroad.
“The demand for exhibitors is enormous so that there is now even a wait list. At the EuroShop 2017, we are expecting around 2,400 exhibitors from 59 countries. This development impressively underlines the fact that our new concept of the 7 dimensions of experience was the right step and is received very positively by the industry, “says Elke Moebius, Global Head Retail and Director EuroShop at Messe Düsseldorf.
The seven experience dimensions of EuroShop 2017 are as follows: POP Marketing, Expo & Event Marketing, Retail Technology, Lighting, Visual Merchandising, Shop Fitting & Store Design and Food Tech & Energy Management. The extensive range of exhibitor stands is supplemented by tried and tested, high-caliber forums with practical contributions to all five exhibition days directly in the fair.
POPAI Global Village at the EuroShop
As in the past 12 years, the POPAI organisation will host a POPAI Global Village in the German-speaking world.
The new design was designed by the design and marketing experts of dan perlman from Berlin and offers a variety of offers for visitors and exhibitors.
In the centre of the village is the POPAI Forum, which is open daily from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm, and is hosted by trade and innovation experts such as Dr. Gerd Wolfram (formerly Metro AG) and Benjamin Brüser (Emma’s Enkel). The program for the forum you will be available soon on the fair page and on the POPAI page.
The international exhibitors in the POPAI Village come from Germany, China, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, France, Belgium, China, Russia and the USA and show shopfitting and furnishings as well as digital solutions. A special area is reserved for the presentation of 3 Retail Startups, which come from France, Austria and Germany. The Startup Wristbanditz from Austria will set up the entire catering management via NFC – come and have a look at an NFC Case in action and visit us for a coffee in the POPAI Village.
The entire future of the shopping team as well as the Future City Langenfeld will be present in the POPAI Village and looks forward to stimulating discussions.

- Guided Show Tour Highlights of EuroShop 2017 will be offered on Monday and Wednesday. Start and finish is the POPAI Village in Hall 3. The tour will last between 3 and 4 hours and shows a carefully selected selection of the innovations exhibited at the trade fair for retail and retail design. There will be the opportunity for discussions with the experts on site.

- Guided tour Highlights of mobile commerce at EuroShop 2017
Start and end of the tour is the POPAI Village in Hall 3. This tour will take about 3 to 4 hours and shows a carefully selected selection of the top highlights and international benchmarks of mobile commerce solutions and exemplary projects. Also on this tour, there will be enough opportunity for discussions with the experts on site.

- Duesseldorf @ EuroShop 2017 – Guided Retail Tour
Düsseldorf has developed into one of the hottest shopping centres in the world. The German “secret capital of fashion”, located on the Rhine, shows outstanding flagship stores and innovative shop concepts.
The walking tour in the city centre is carried out by our renowned Retail Innovations experts from ZDE. The focus of the tour is on OmniChannel, Digital and new store concepts. The participants have the opportunity to speak and take personal pictures with responsible managers.

- Euroshop Experience Tour curated by dan pearlman from Berlin. The creative agency dan pearlman from Berlin is a partner in the POPAI Village. The retail design and brand architecture experts offer a curated guide to the highlights in retail design, shopfitting and architecture.

The EuroShop 2017 is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm for trade visitors from Sunday, March 5, 2017, to Thursday, March 09, 2017. The day ticket costs 70, – Euro (50, – Euro in the online advance sale (e-ticket), the 2-day ticket 90, – Euro (70, – Euro in the OVV) and the duration card 150, – Euro (130, – Euro In the OVV) The tickets include the free round trip to the EuroShop with VRR-Verkehrsmitteln (Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Ruhr).
The EuroShop app, which is available for both IOS and Android, provides an additional service at the fair: by means of geofencing, it provides the EuroShop guests with the most important information already upon arrival at the airport, railway station or in the fair car parks.
Those who want to know about the EuroShop and plan their visit to the trade fair can now do so even more comfortably. After a relaunch, the EuroShop Portal presents itself not only in a new design but is also characterised by full responsiveness. That is, It is usable on all end devices, be it PC, tablet or mobile phone in high visual quality and especially user-friendly. The current exhibitor database, which is updated daily, is online, and the ticket shop for EuroShop 2017 is also open on the portal.
